Urea and Radish Germination
Inlfuence of Urea on the Germination and Growth of Radishes
We Put the "P" in Plants
Students in eighth grade science classes used 3D printed, small seed, multiple chamber test pots to determine the influence of urea on the germinate and early growth of radish seeds. The students added specific amounts of granular urea to water in order to create solutions of varying concentrations. After applying the different levels of urea solution to the radishes the students waited one week and then collected data on germination and growth.
