Teaching Areas

The OEC contains two dedicated teaching areas equipped with movable benches and portable whiteboards.  The space serves as an open-air classroom for any teacher at any time.  The teaching areas can comfortable accommodate two classes of 30 student simultaneously on opposite sides of the OEC, thus creating separation and increasing the flexibility and usability of the overall design.  Potential uses include but are not limited to: lesson introduction/summations; journaling space; equipment setup; and breakout area for meetings.
