Science Fair - Individual Research

            Many eighth grade students take advantage of the greenhouse in the OEC to conduct research used for science fair projects.  This year students investigated many topics including, but not limited to; the influence of urea on pole bean growth, aquaponics water vs’ distilled water – investigating root development, caffeine and radish seed germination, colored light and sunflower growth, and factors influencing the uptake of nitrate in duckweed.
