6th Grade Science Fair Projects

Sixth grade students conducted their science fair experiments in the greenhouse at the OEC.  Science fair topics investigated multiple factors related to germination and growth.  Projects focused on how growth was influenced by soil type, watering liquid, amount of light and type of light source.  Students wrote problems, made hypotheses, designed their own investigations and then used the resources provided in the greenhouse to conduct their experiments.  Results from the experimentation where analyzed and displayed for the Sixth Grade Science Fair.
