Alumni Association Overview

When first established, the association's main purpose was to assist the alumni of the George W. Hewlett High School in their work for the common good of the high school, its students, and alumni.

It is our endeavor to keep alumni connected to each other and the Hewlett-Woodmere community.

At Community Awards Night at the high school, the association recognizes and encourages one sophomore and one junior for their academic work and efforts.

At the Graduation Ceremony, it is our pleasure to award two seniors with our Scholarship for Excellence and our Spirit of Achievement Scholarship.  All graduating seniors are invited to join us with a four-year free membership.

Through our Hall of Fame, we recognize the accomplishments of outstanding alumni in the areas of professional achievement and community service.
