Welcome to our second grade classroom. We are learning each and every day. Our new author and illustrator study for this month is Robert Munsch. Our author series is all Mo Willems books. In reading, we are working on reading just right books and learning strategies for tricky words. In writing we are working on several small moment pieces. In math, we are working on addition and subtraction facts 1- 20, even and odd numbers and using manipulatives to make number problems. Please encourage the chuldren to read each and every day and also practice number facts 1- 20 in both addition and aubtraction. Continue to practice counting up and counting backwards beginning with any number by tens, fives, and other numbers on the 100's board. |
