• Dear HES Families,

I hope this letter finds you and your family well.  We recognize that over the past days and weeks, conversations and concerns around the Coronavirus have touched almost every area of our personal and professional lives.  Please know that we have been addressing childrens’ questions and uncertainties with sensitivity and calm, while working behind the scenes to prepare work and guidance in the event of an extended school closure.  Attached to this letter, please find links to the most recent communications from our District Leadership.

In addition, please access this Distance Learning Page for resources and directions from your child’s classroom teacher.  In addition to materials that were sent home with students, these links will help provide comprehensive activities from their traditional curriculum.

Teachers are also utilizing the digital platforms that you’ve consistently been using

(such as Seesaw and Google Classroom) to share updates with you and at times, directly with students.

I thank you for your continued partnership and wish you and your loved ones well during these challenging times.

    Colleen O’Hara, Ed.D.

    HES Principal
