PreKindergarten
The PreKindergarten is a half day program supported by New York State and the school district for all children eligible for Kindergarten the following September. A certified teacher is in charge of each session assisted by a teacher aide. Children attend 5 half days per week. Parents provide transportation to and from the program.
PLUS
The PLUS program is a tuition-based extended school day offered for
children enrolled in our PreKindergarten program. Scholarships are
available. The daily program is an extension of the child’s PreKindergarten
experience and includes a lunch period. Parents provide transportation.
Four year olds are fascinating. They learn by doing. They deal with
present first-hands-on experiences and concrete materials. They move
around a lot. They love stories and songs and nonsense. They are
creative, innovative thinkers and eager learners about everything.
