PAYMENTS
Payment in the form of check, money order, or Visa/MasterCard will be accepted (no cash). Make checks/money orders payable to Hewlett-Woodmere Community Services.

CANCELLATIONS/CHANGES
Courses below minimum registration may be canceled. AII unexpected closings will be posted on the District website.

SAFETY AND SECURITY
The safety and security of all students, staff, faculty, and visitors is a high priority of the Board of Education and administration. We ask for your full cooperation in complying with all rules and regulations while on school grounds and in our buildings. In the event of an emergency, please follow the directions provided by the responding school personnel.

REFUND REQUESTS
Refunds will only be granted for the following reasons:

Refunds Prior to the Start of Class: Refunds will only be granted if a written request is received in the Office of
Community Education and Services no later than five days prior to the beginning of classes. A $10 cancellation fee will be deducted from the original fee paid. Cancellation requests received after the five days prior to the start of classes will receive no refund.

Refunds Due to Insufficient Registration or Instructor Cancellation: If the District cancels a class, or the  instructor cancels the class, a full refund will be credited to your account. There will be no cancellation fee.

Refunds Due to a Medical Emergency: Prorated refunds may be granted if a written request, accompanied by a doctor's note, is submitted. The doctor's note must state that the person is not able to participate in the specific activity for which he/she is registered. There will be no cancellation fee.

CLOSINGS
No evening classes will take place on April 11 and May 23, 2025.
No weekend classes will take place on the following dates: April 12-13, 19-20 and May 24-25, 2025.
No classes will take place during school closings - please refer to the District calendar for closing dates.

NON-RESIDENT REGISTRATIONS
Please note that if a class has reached maximum capacity, District #14 residents will be given priority,
