District Goals and Administrative Objectives
DISTRICT GOALS 2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR
The District will align its instructional practices, curriculum, and strategic initiatives to prepare every student to lead, grow, create, work, and contribute by developing six core competencies: Analytical Thinking, Creative Innovation, Effective Communication, Engaged Citizenship, Reflective & Future-Focused, and Academically Prepared.
1. Academic Excellence and Analytical Inquiry
The District will provide a student-centered learning environment and rigorous curriculum that prepares all students for academic success while developing strong analytical thinking skills. Students will be challenged to ask thoughtful questions, think deeply, solve complex problems, and apply their learning in meaningful ways.
How We Will Measure: Student achievement data, growth over time, percentage of students meeting proficiency in literacy, math, etc., classroom observations, participation in advanced coursework, graduation rate
2. Ethical AI Integration and Digital Literacy
The District will implement its AI Mission and Vision by integrating Artificial Intelligence in thoughtful, ethical, and responsible ways that support teaching and learning. Students will develop the digital literacy skills needed to understand, evaluate, and use AI effectively while becoming creative problem-solvers and responsible digital citizens.
How We Will Measure: AI instructional practices observed in classrooms; curriculum projects using AI appropriately, staff AI training
3. Community Engagement and Engaged Citizenship
The District will foster strong partnerships with families and maintain open communication with students and the community about District initiatives. Through these partnerships, students will develop the communication, leadership, and civic responsibility needed to make positive contributions within their school, community, and beyond.
How We Will Measure: Family participation at school and District events; frequency and reach of District communications, student participation in community services, seal of civic readiness numbers, leadership, community internships, partnerships with local businesses and organizations.
4. Student Well-being and Character Development
The District will provide a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment that promotes the physical, social, and emotional well-being of every student. By fostering resilience, integrity, empathy, and self-awareness, the District will help students build the character and confidence needed to become reflective, lifelong learners who are prepared for future success.
How We Will Measure: student attendance and absenteeism, student behavioral and discipline data, SEL program offerings
