How much fertilizer should I put on my sunflowers?
Students from multiple grade levels visited the greenhouse in the OEC to conduct an experiment investigating the influence of fertilizer on the growth of sunflowers. Students germinated seeds and then applied a different amount of fertilizer solution every week for 6 weeks. Each week the students tracked stem height, number of leaves and overall color and health of the sunflowers. Results where shared within the class and the data was used to generate graphs and make conclusions.
