Students should realize the significance of their part in the economic system. Important management and economic concepts are defined in relation to business transactions and to the individual as an entrepreneur, employee, consumer, and citizen. General principles will be combined with practical applications to develop personal financial literacy.Financial Literacy
With many college-age students in debt and filing for bankruptcy protection, learning how to manage your money is very important. To help learn this, students will participate in the Financial Literacy Certification Program. Students will learn money management and additional concepts and take a nationwide test in Financial Literacy. If students pass the test, they will receive a certificate and can list this impressive feat on their resume.
