Caffeine and Radish Growth:
Cross-Team Collaboration
The students in Mr. Donath’s classes followed the procedures created and field tested by their peers. The students added specific amounts of powdered caffeine to water in order to create solutions of varying concentrations. After applying the different levels of caffeine solution to the radishes the students waited one week and then collected data on germination and growth. They analyzed the data, formed conclusions, and reported back to Mrs. Sinkus’ class about their results and experiences.
